I come here often to get a bit to eat. I love the food and the fry sauce is amazing. The one thing that is truly a huge downfall for me here is the fact that it's a fast food restaurant but the service is anything but fast. Every time I've been through the drive thru I've waited AT LEAST 10 minutes to get my food even when there's one car in front of me. I love the food but I often question if it's worth the wait.

Burgers are always good.. fries always hot. I usually get a Paul Bunyan combo when I drive to the lake. It's just an Idaho favorite!

This place is nothing special. Prices are pretty regular, food ok at best, and service is not fast. My corn dog was ripped and fried so the hot dog was greasy and that wasn't appealing. I asked for a half chocolate half vanilla shake and it was all chocolate. The lettuce in my husbands burger was soggy and he burger patties were kind of rubbery. The fries were hot and pretty good but whatever special sauce they have with them was interesting at best. My husband had no complaints and said it wasn't worth a bad review but I found nothing great about the place and think your better off going to McDonald's.

Fast service, decent burgers and fries. Its about all you can say for Paul Bunyan. Doubles run $1.99. So when on a budget and in a hurry, burgers are much better than McDonalds.

Boy, tonight it reminded me why I haven't been to Paul Bunyan in 6 years; the food is marginal at best, but the service . . . good lord. It's the same problem enormous problem that I had back then, getting a "thank you" is virtually impossible. Even with a hint "THANK YOU" from me, . . .still don't get it. Granted, it's relatively inexpensive, but I still don't have to spend $$ there. The way that I see it, either appreciate my hard earned dollar with a simple thanks, or don't see me again. A simple fix that evidently hasn't been fixed. So, you won't see me again.

Tasty food at reasonable prices makes this a good family dinner solution when time is pressing. Typical menu offerings for a burger place with the added bonus of ice cream for the kids. The shakes and rings are great! Like most places, service will vary but of the many times I have been there (50+easy, who knows), I really can't recall being dissatisfied.

Stopped in while visiting Idaho for a family function. After getting indifferent service from the young lady behind the counter the food we received was simply revolting. My Dr Pepper was served with no ice, one member found long hairs in his burger and I found another in my onion rings. I realize I am just a tourist and all but DAMN. I usually try to give places a second try just because on bad visit does not a bad review make, but you couldn't get me back in there with a gun to my head

The price of food at Paul Bunyan has dropped recently to $1.99 for any burger on the menu so it's tempting to drive in and grab something in a pinch which is what I did a week ago. Even though I've held the thought for many years that Paul Bunyan serves the most dreadful hamburgers in North Idaho (slightly worse than Dairy Queen), I ordered 3 double bacon cheeseburgers on my way home. Such a simple order.... Three of the same thing. I pull up to the drive-thru window and the girl working inside, who appears to be 14 years of age, takes my money and a couple minutes later hands me my order. Well, somebodies order anyway, because what I found in the bag was two burgers and an order of fries. Clearly, not what I ordered. I get the young girls attention and hand her back the bag, she apologizes and hands me another bag. No... Wait... It's the same bag with two burgers and fries. After getting her attention again she hands me a completely different bag of food.. YAY! Well, not so much yay... It's a bag with a double bacon cheeseburger, a single bacon cheeseburger and a chicken sandwich. WOW... Who would have ever thought ordering 3 double bacon cheeseburgers would be such an ordeal? And I'm happy to report that the food is just as bad as I remember. I knew at the time that I would be venting my frustration over the visit on the Yelp site, and here it be.

Recently moved to Post Falls, and had to wait almost a month for our stuff to arrive, needless to say we made many trips to fast food joints. This being one of our top fast food joints! Gotta go for the hotz! (to the uninitiated that would be the hotzarellas-spicy crispy fried sticks of cheesy goodness) And don't forget that obligatory sauce in Idaho-Fry Sauce! Burgers are pretty tasty too, although I've only eaten the cheeseburger. If you want some artery clogging burgers as well then Paul Bunyan's is your place (ham, bacon, hamburger anyone?) My parents came for a visit and their first stop request was Paul Bunyans! Don't forget to come in Huckleberry season for a fresh Huckleberry milkshake!
